Dans les deux phrases, on comprend qu'on a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 \u00e9crire un article mais remarquez comment l'objet change de position entre les deux phrases. La premi\u00e8re phrase est \u00e0 la voix active tandis que <strong>la seconde est \u00e0 la voix passive<\/strong>. L'acteur prend donc moins d'importance, \u00e0 tel point qu\u2019il est parfois compl\u00e8tement absent..<\/p>\n<p>Quelques exemples :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">China manufactures masks<\/span> (La Chine fabrique des masques) --&gt; <span lang=\"en\">The masks <strong>are manufactured<\/strong> in China<\/span> (Les masques sont fabriqu\u00e9s en Chine)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Frida Kahlo painted this picture<\/span> (Frida Kahlo a peint ce tableau) --&gt; <span lang=\"en\">This picture <strong>was painted<\/strong> by Frida Kahlo<\/span> (Ce tableau a \u00e9t\u00e9 peint par Frida Kahlo)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The company will not pay the strikers<\/span> (La compagnie ne paiera pas les gr\u00e9vistes) --&gt; <span lang=\"en\">The strikers <strong>will not be paid<\/strong> by the company<\/span> (Les gr\u00e9vistes ne seront pas pay\u00e9s par la compagnie)<\/p>\n<p>Tous les verbes \u00e0 la voix passive sont marqu\u00e9s en gras. Tout d'abord, il faut s'activer pour ma\u00eetriser l\u2019auxiliaire <strong><span lang=\"en\">to be<\/span><\/strong> tout comme l\u2019auxiliaire <em>\u00eatre<\/em> en fran\u00e7ais. ou -ded. Il n\u2019est en effet pas toujours n\u00e9cessaire de le remettre dans la phrase m\u00eame si \u00e7a reste possible. Si vous souhaitez mentionner l\u2019agent, il doit \u00eatre exprim\u00e9 en tant que compl\u00e9ment et non en tant que sujet du verbe. Si l'objet est plus essentiel dans votre phrase, vous pouvez donc envisager la voix passive. Il peut y avoir plusieurs raisons pour cela : Le sujet n'est pas connu, il n\u2019est pas important, ou on veut d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment le cacher. Dans ces cas-l\u00e0, la phrase passe mieux \u00e0 la forme passive.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">My purse <strong>was stolen<\/strong><\/span> - Mon sac \u00e0 main a \u00e9t\u00e9 vol\u00e9; et on ne sait pas par qui.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The holiday <strong>has not yet been organised<\/strong><\/span> - Les vacances n'ont pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9es ; on ne veut pas d\u00e9voiler la personne qui ne l'a pas fait.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">A new shopping mall <strong>is being built<\/strong><\/span> - Un nouveau centre commercial est en train d'\u00eatre construit; on ne s'int\u00e9resse pas au constructeur.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en\">The burglar <strong>was arrested<\/strong> by the police<\/span> - Le cambrioleur a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 par la police; l\u2019information importante n\u2019est pas de savoir qui a fait l\u2019arrestation (on se doute que c\u2019est la police), mais qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En excluant le sujet on laisse l'interpr\u00e9tation de la phrase au hasard pour l'interlocuteur. Par d\u00e9finition, les <strong>verbes intransitifs<\/strong> n\u2019ont pas d\u2019objet, ils ne sont donc pas utilisables \u00e0 la voix passive..<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The package has <strong>arrived<\/strong>&quot; (Le colis est arriv\u00e9) et &quot;The child is <strong>sleeping<\/strong><\/span> (L'enfant dort) comportent des verbes intransitifs car ils peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s sans objet. En revanche, les phrases <span lang=\"en\">I caught<\/span> (j'attrape) ou <span lang=\"en\">You have taken<\/span> (Tu as pris) n\u2019ont pas de sens car il manque un compl\u00e9ment d'objet pour donner un sens \u00e0 la phrase.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">I caught the ball<\/span> peut devenir <span lang=\"en\">The ball was caught<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">I have taken a necklace<\/span> se transformera en <span lang=\"en\">A necklace has been taken<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, <em>&quot;The package was arrived&quot;<\/em> est une faute car le verbe <span lang=\"en\">arrive<\/span> n\u2019a pas d\u2019objet.
